Dwight Eisenhower Dwight D. Eisenhower was born on October 14, 1890, in Denison, Texas. His parents, David Jacob Eisenhower and Ida Stover Eisenhower, were a deeply sacred couple who belonged to a Protestant sect called the River Brethren.
