In my younger years I used umpteen of the resistances to critical thinking. The one that I used most often was trouble oneselfion. This was curiously true when I was in college for the scratch line time. Many things were able to forefend me from focusing on the tasks at hand. Now in my forties reverting to school I have much clarity around the goals and this lets me carry out the tasks more easily.
